The FunCubator and NP Capital funds led the investment round. DESIRIUM is a unique product for the VR market, through which entertainment content is distributed. On September 19, 2018, the platform came out as an application in the Oculus Store and is now available on Oculus Go and Samsung Gear VR headsets. "We believe that content delivery and consumption in virtual reality will change significantly in the nearest future," said FIBRUM CEO Ilya Flaks. "Many years of experience in VR made it possible to design DESIRIUM as a single ecosystem in the industry and guarantee our users with exceptionally new experience with VR." FIBRUM intends to attract the best developers offering them a 70% revenue sharing model. The first version of DESIRIUM will include content from 4 partners. Within DESIRIUM, FIBRUM performs as a developer, publisher, and distributor of VR content. The attracted investments will go to R&D and marketing of both the product itself and the partnership program. By the end of 2018, DESIRIUM will be featured in major standalone headsets of the US and Asia. During this time, the content library should grow twofold. Lead-investor of the round is the FunCubator fund. "We are expanding our investment portfolio with VR," says Almas Abulkhairov, a partner with FunCubator. "DESIRIUM attracts us as a full package - content, channel distribution, and consumer." The investment round was also shared by NP Capital.
