The unit has an integrated antenna array and provides SDI and HDMI input. For high quality audio transmission the unit provides balanced analogue audio inputs. The unit support transmission via Ka-sat, BGAN Satellite and has a default storage capacity of 120 GB which can be upgraded until one TB. The casing is milled from a solid aluminum bar which makes it resilience to external forces and survive drops of more than 2 meters without problems. The unit comes by default as a camera mount solution but can also be used with smaller camera fitted in a backpack with V-mount battery clip. The Live Link solution tries to meet every bodies requirements featuring two types of backpacks and a rain cover for usage on the back of a camera. Other available accessories are a high gain dome antenna, hot swap battery plates and antenna extenders for roof top car mounting.
