Allianz Deutschland Partners with IMS as Technology Provider for BonusDrive

- Allianz selects IMS' Mobile UBI technology, powered by DriveSync 5   Intelligent Mechatronic Systems (IMS), a leading connected car and usage based insurance (UBI) solution provider, is pleased to announce that Allianz Deutschland, one of Germany's leading auto insurers, has deployed DriveSync 5 for their mobile UBI offering, BonusDrive. Allianz BonusDrive is powered by IMS' award-winning DriveSync connected car platform to enable fast speed to market while delivering on the needs of a leading top tier global insurer, including program customization and an engaging, gamified experience for policyholders. Allianz BonusDrive includes enhanced mobile UBI technology, provided by IMS, connected to a 12 volt Bluetooth car adapter for precise vehicle identification, real-time driver behavior and accurate driver coaching and feedback. The information collected is used to reward drivers up to a maximum 30% discount on premiums at year-end.
